The X-Cite microscope light source system uses a 120w lamp to deliver rich spectral fluorescence excitation with a uniformly illuminated field of view and is computer controllable. The lamp provides more than 2000 hours of life and is pre-aligned so changing it is simple. The optional adjustable iris allows the user to set the level of illumination. This microscope light is ideally suited for fluorescence illumination in routine assays and as a microscope light source for use in multi-user facilities.
