The Meiji MT6000 epi-fluorescent laboratory microscope includes the infinity corrected optical system. The MT6000 Series microscopes are configured for brightfield and epi-flourescence but can be outfitted with optional phase contrast and darkfield components making operation very affordable for colleges, universities, researchers and clinics. Optional Polarized Light accessories are also available. The microscope includes:
- Objective Lenses: DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Semi APO F10x, F20x, F40x and F100x mounted in
smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece. U. Plan and U. Plan Phase objectives are also available.
- Viewing Head: Siedentopf-type binocular head or trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the eyetubes inclined at 30° with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube & 20% to the eyetube.)
The optional Ergonomic Viewing Head has the inclination adjustable from 10-50° to fit any size user.
- Eyepieces:
10x Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22 are standard, and 15x and 20x eyepieces are available as an option. Also avilable - Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10x focusable eyepiece (accepts 25mm reticles).
- Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x and 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Ceramic coated flat top stage measures 191mm x 126mm with 100mm x 100mm X-Y travel with ergonomically positioned right-handed coaxial drop down controls (left-handed are available).
- Illumination: A powerful 6V, 30W halogen bulb provides enhanced image quality and brightness for the observation of specimens. The standard Modular Six Position Epi-fluorescent illuminator employs a 100 watt mercury lamp and power supply. The optional Opti-Quip lamphouse and fully adjustable power supply accomodates Mercury illuminators.
- Filter Sets: Included are the basic blue excitation filter set mounted in cube and the basic green excitation filter set mounted in cube. Note: The basic blue and basic green filter sets are designed primarily for viewing the fluorescence of a single fluorochrome. Both filter sets contain longpass emission filters which cannot exclude the fluorescence of a second fluorchrome which also may be excited. The basic green filter set is recommended for use with mercury lamps only. Please contact us if you need different filter sets.
- Light Focusing:
Abbe condenser NA 1.25 with iris in dovetail mount is included. Optional condenders include a Zernike Phase Contrast Condenser NA 1.25 with iris in dovetail mount and darkfield condenser with dovetail mount.

- Warranty: Meiji Techno warrants this product against defects in material and/or workmanship for the life of the instrument from the date of original purchase to the original purchaser. Electrical warranty is 90 days.
