Motic BA310 Laboratory Microscope

The Motic BA310 Biological microscope for clinical, University or Institutional uses. Includes color corrected infinity optical system. The Motic BA310 microscope includes the following:

• Objective Lenses: Inward facing quintuple objective turret revolving nosepiece holds your choice of Color Corrected Infinity System (CCIS) EF-N Plan Achromat objectives, CCIS Plan Achromat objectives or CCIS Plan Phase objectives.
• Eyepieces: Siedentopf high eyepoint widefield 10x eyepieces, 20mm FOV. Accepts 25mm diameter reticle. 30° inclined binocular tubes with interpupillary distance adjustments from 55 mm to 75 mm. (WF15x and WF20x eyepieces are also available). Independent diopter adjustments are on each eyepiece, rather than on the eyepiece tube. Trinocular version (see below) has a port that features a professional light distribution slider of 100% binocular or 100% photo tube, making it ideal for photo microscopy.   • CCIS Plan Achromat objectives - 40x, 100x, 200x, 400xr, 1000xr oil immersion.
  • CCIS Plan Phase objectives - 100x, 200x, 400xr, 1000xr oil immersion.
• Specimen Stage: Rectangular mechanical stage, 175mm x 140mm with a travel range of 76mm x 50mm. Low positioned coaxial control knobs make it easy to control stage movement. The stage is protected with a special hard coating to protect against abrasion and fungus growth.
• Stand: T-shaped base and pyramid-designed frame provide superb stability and mechanical design to achieve ergonomic and fatigue-free operation as well as saving vital desk space in modern laboratories.
• Focusing: Fine and coarse coaxial focusing. The Combination of a triangular steel rail with an adjustable torque control knob provides for easy control of the coarse focusing tension and total vertical movement of 25mm at 2 µm.
• Condenser: Focusable Abbe N.A. 0.90 with iris diaphragm. The condenser is attached to the microscope using a dovetail mount and can be adjusted through a rack and pinion mechanism ensuring a durable and smooth range of adjustments. The condenser has a slot for the 3-position phase contrast slider, which can be easily added for quick phase contrast microscopy. When you order the phase contrast objectives you will receive a 5-position phase contrast condenser and a phase centering telescope.
• Illumination: Your choice of either LED illumination or 6V / 30W quartz halogen illumination together with the fied iris diaphragm provides an exact Koehler illumination. Includes built-in intensity control.
• Anti-Fungus Treatment: All critical parts of the microscope such as the eyepieces, objectives and observation tube are anti-fungus treated to ensure image clarity and optical performance.
